The fabulous pro makeup artist Allan Avendaño worked his magic on me and gave me a Guess? inspired look! He created a face chart of the look and shared the products he used so you can recreate the look at home!

He started with Orlane Paris Super Light Moisturizer to prep my face. Then he used Chanel Correcteur Perfection to brighten under my eyes and Armani Luminous Silk Foundation ($60 USD) to make my skin glow!

For my eyes, Allan started with a base color over the entire eyelid and underneath with MAC Eyeshadow in Bronze. He then pumped up the outer corners of my eyes with MAC Eyeshadow in Embark and then went into the inner corners with MAC Gold Pigment. On my brow bone, he used a dash of Benefit Watts Up Highlighter for some subtle dimension. To complete the look, a few coats of Diorshow Blackout Mascara was applied to top and bottom lashes and Dior Brow Pencil in Sand gave my brows some depth.

Allan lightly dusted the dark shade of Make Up For Ever Contour Palette under my cheekbones to accentuate them and then went in with MAC Golden Bronze Powder on the apples of my cheeks for some healthy color.

And finally, the lips were lined with Smashbox Nude Liner in Fair and then filled in with Dior Addict Lipstick in Beige Casual.

Sexy Voluminous Date Hair

It’s a complaint we hear quite often – having long, full hair can be a curse! Words By Audrey Hepburn

Audrey Hepburn is one of the most famous actresses of all time. To this day, she is a beauty and style icon that has influenced international culture over the past six decades. She is the ultimate Starlet – class, grace and beauty. But she was more than those things. She was a humanitarian with a heart of gold, devoted to UNICEF, working in some of the most impoverished areas of Africa, South America and Asia between 1988 until her death in 1993. Her inner beauty far exceeded her outward appearance and it is demonstrated in this quote. May it inspire you and make you smile. FYI – Smiling lifts the face and makes you appear younger so exercise those muscles!

Nail Polish Color of Feb

We know, we know… Valentine’s Day is approaching and everywhere we look, we are bombarded with hearts, candies and flowers. It makes some of us want to scream! Instead, we like to think of February as a transition to Spring. It’s also a good excuse to buy new beauty products to re-invent your look. This re-invention should include changing the color of your nail polish! Tell your holiday shades like red, gold and bronze to move over because here come the pinks! Below are just a few of the gazillion pink nail polish options that will make you love (and maybe make someone fall in love with you), this month!

We gave you three different price points to work with your budget! The luxury options we chose are Chanel La Vernis in Rose Exubérant ($27 USD) and Dior Vernis in Plaza ($24 USD).

Our mid-range price point jumps $8 USD between each other and includes Deborah Lippmann Nail Color in Daytripper($16 USD) and Essie Nail Polish in Castaway ($8).

The most affordable polishes of the bunch are Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure in Back to Fuschia ($6 USD *average price) and Maybelline Color Show in Crushed Candy ($4 USD *average price).
